Musically his songs were mostly based on 2 Step but was said to be a more innovative and
tight 3 Step and he recorded his first albums under the production of Birdman
Start and Lil Wayne would also often accompany himself on the keyboard with a looping sound.
On his Tha Carter 3 album, Birdman made an appearance in the song The Carter 2: Like Father, Like Son, playing guitar and singing.
